She said, “There’s no turning back, there’s only forward movement. You can never go home again.” And she almost convinced herself, but her doubts still lingered. Something convinced her to stay back.

A flight and a crash, there’s a risk in taking chances. Maybe hers is a fear of defeat? She’s running out of time, left feeling insecure and weak. There’s a search for clarity that she may never see.

A pen to paper she writes, “To whom this may concern. I’m writing to let you know I’ll be leaving soon. Anxiety and exhaustion are my muse. Wish me luck my friends, in my head I’m already gone.”
